Kaftans

A kaftan is cut wide and straight from the shoulder, so it falls away from the body rather than following it — cool to wear, and forgiving across sizes. The kaftans here are sets, worn over palazzos in a matching print, with embroidery worked into the bib.

Alongside them is a floor-length gown, worked in dense gold embroidery across the yoke and sleeves and open at the front over a slip: the same easy shape, made for a wedding or an evening.
