Complimentary delivery on orders over ₹5,000

Terms & conditions

The terms on which we sell. Written to be read, not to be survived.

Last updated 30 August 2026

These terms have [not yet been reviewed by a lawyer] and contain open points marked below. They are not fit to be relied on until that review has happened.

Who you are buying from

The House of Mirah, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. [Registered entity name, GSTIN and registered address to confirm]

Prices

All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST where it applies. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay.

We try hard to price accurately. If a piece is listed at a clearly wrong price, we will contact you before dispatching rather than quietly cancelling.

When your order is accepted

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we confirm dispatch, not when you click.

We may decline an order if a piece has sold out, if we cannot deliver to the address, or if we cannot verify the order.

Payment

Orders are paid online at checkout, by card, UPI, net banking or wallet. Payment is handled by Razorpay; we do not see or store your card details. Cash on Delivery is not offered, and there is no handling fee.

Your order is confirmed once payment succeeds. If payment fails or is abandoned, nothing is charged and your bag is left as it was.

Made-to-order pieces

Made-to-order and bridal pieces are cut to your measurements after you order. Once cutting has begun they cannot be cancelled or returned for change of mind, because they cannot be sold to anyone else.

Handwork varies. Two pieces of the same design will not be identical, and small variations in embroidery and dye are a property of the work rather than a fault.

If something is wrong

If a piece arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, we will replace it or refund it, including postage. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer law.

[Cancellation window, liability cap and dispute resolution clauses to be drafted with legal advice]

Governing law

[Governing law and jurisdiction to confirm — expected to be the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra]
